The Parent Resource and Troy Lending Library opened in 2004 to ensure that families of deaf and hard-of-hearing children had free access to information and materials that address their unique needs and experiences.
The McDonalds Resource Library includes materials about deafness, hearing aids, cochlear implants, American Sign Language, Deaf culture/history, auditory verbal therapy, sign language acquisition, spoken language development and child development, as well as games and activities for auditory and/or visual ability development, and publications from other deaf service organizations throughout North America. |
The Library is open during Parent-Infant Program hours and by appointment. |
